16 th Air Assault book is very well researched and well written. I was looking for upto date information on this force. The pictures were excellent and the lay out of the book was superb.
There was high quality and in depth analysis of the force and its current objectives
The book details the strengths and weaknesses of the force. Its main problem right now is a lack of military helicopters.
The book details where the force has been employed and it has done very well so far in military operations. The force is supposed to be as good at the US 101st Airborne but the Americans have a huge defence budget and it may be that ther UK`s lack of money means that this force may not have the kind of air power and logistical support needed to make it fully effective.
