Product Description
When Ariella Gerrard is cast from the family home for refusing to marry a man she despises, she turns for help to Arthur Packard, her father's lawyer. Sponsored by Lady Caroline Fitzjohn, Ariella enters London Society as an heiress, the recipient of a very special legacy. But she has made deadly enemies as well as powerful friends and is thrust into a world of intrigue, abduction and mortal danger. From the ballrooms of Mayfair and the stately homes of England to the fortress island of Gibraltar, can Martin, Lord Trent, save her from peril, but more importantly, can he save her from herself?

Reviews - What do our customers think?
Georgette Heyer herself wouldn't be able to fault this one  Nov 14, 2009
Ariella's Legacy by Sharon Milburn is the author's second regency romance with Cerridwen Cotillian. Milburn has a light touch for regency. The book reads at a lively pace and has a good progression of story line as well as the blossoming love story. The writing kept me engaged all the way through, and wanting for more. The characters are likable, and believable within their setting. Georgette Heyer herself wouldn't be able to fault the sense of time and place in this one.
