This is a good beginning Flip Book for small kids. It's the perfect size for their hands. The photographs are very high quality and paper stock is durable.
I bought this for a 5 year old boy who is a curious budding-engineer-type who likes to figure out how things work ... thought that this would pique his curiosity about how films are made (and it has). The only down side is that (1) this is the only author of Flip Books that I could find after numerous searches on the web for Flip Books, and (2) once I found him on this site, I could find only 1 or 2 that looked fitting for a small kid. | | |  | "Flip Book" That's Family Fun. | My daughter's first grade teacher recently introduced the class to "flip books" - a book that can be animated by flipping through the pages quickly. My daughter was spell-bound and tried making one herself but then really really wanted to see other examples. When we searched on-line, we found that many of the options had adult content...this site had a really nice assortment of "flip books" that both kids and adults could enjoy. This specific book has a child chewing gum, blowing a bubble and floating off. We loved it - and it was fun going forward or back. The book is small and easy for an adult or child to flip.
