 | An exciting & coherent future for physics... Jul 9, 2009 |
| As a physicist, it has always bothered me that we have entirely different sets of rules to describe the quantum, versus the newtonian, etc... It has always seemed to me that this approach was fundamentaly flawed - why should wholly seperate paradigms exist simply because of scale? This book speaks to the idea that all phenomenon whether micro or macro CAN be described using the same model and in fact, in a much more straight forward and simple way, than current physics allows for. While, no doubt, there is still much to be said on the topic, I found this book an enlightening piece of dialogue that is likely to make a profound impact on the history and future of physics and ultimately the world we live in. I loved it and encourage everyone, but in particular, any serious student of physics to read it. | | | Write your own review about '1' The Foundation and Mathematization of Physics
