| Saxon is an incremental approach with lots of repetition and drill built in. The teacher's edition is necessary to introduce new skills at an appropriate time. It's a fully scripted approach but you do not have to use the script - just use the creative teaching ideas. My 6 yo son LOVES to do math. It's his favorite subject.
