The Drama Continues!!!!!  Feb 1, 2010
Once again, Ms. Lovely does not dissapoint with this book!!!!! The new characters in the book are just as lively as the remaining cast! Passion Perkins is the church member everyone should be afraid of!!! We met some new Pastors and churches in this book and it is like we have all been friends forever. The style of writing is so clear that you can pratically feel the tension in the room! Another must read! This Hallelujah series is on fire but still sends a message! Great Job!!!!!

Passionate church folks  Dec 30, 2009
Reader if you are looking for a story where church people are totally triumphant over the sins in their life this sure is not for you. This tells a too realistic tale of church folks praising the Lord and dealing with their messes, some of the elements may shock folks but church people are not perfect and this funny book reminds us of this. There are a lot of characters, probably too much, IMO it would have been better to concentrate on a smaller group but its still a good read, the third in a series after Sex in the Sanctuary, Love like Hallelujah but still stands alone. Some old favourites are back and some new characters. Adultery, marital sexual hangups (which contributes to the adultery), being on the downlow, homosexuality, woman chasing men like crazy, ignorant know it all teenagers, abortion and crazy stalkers, its all in here folks! Ms Lovely does not judge her characters, she shows living the Christian life has elements of shades of grey and for reminding us never to put anyone on a pedestal, something too many church folks are in the habit of doing.

The grass is not always greener  Dec 28, 2009
I love this series. However, you can truly see what happens when a woman is scorned. Passion was wrong for what she did to Pastor Carla and Stanley, but she got her just rewards in the end. I can't want to read Heaven Right Here. Child, thses people are something else. Hopefully, we can eventually see what the next generation is up to also, Princess and her clan. Ms. Lovely really has a handle on the characters. I know that being a pastor is hard work, having several in my family. The women are ruthless in their pursuit of the crazy. The problem, however, with all of these books is that they come to an end. I am getting the next one in a few days, so Ms Lovely, get to writing!!!

NOT A GOOD READ  Nov 1, 2009
THIS BOOK DOES NOT HAVE MERIT TO ITS CONTENTS. ITS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND IT HAS LARGE NUMBER OF CHARACTERS THAT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THE MAIN CHARACTER OR THE STORY. IF I WASN'T IN A BOOK CLUB I'M AFRAID I WOULD HAVE NOT FINISHED THIS BOOK. I HOPE THIS REVIEW IS HELPFUL.

Wow  Oct 15, 2009
This book was a very good sequel to SOS. I wanted to smack Stacy so bad for being stuck on stupid and Robin just creeped me out. Bo was a trip and funny as hell. If you haven't read this book, you are missing out on a good thang. Can't wait to read the next one!
