Item Description...
Product Description His first book was an international bestseller, and in this publication, Boon shows us his new projects, including an astonishing apartment in the heart of New York. Boon's modern classic and austere style retains a classical touch as a consequence of its obvious affinity with pure, traditional building materials and architectural styles. His books show, through wonderful colour photographs, that his creations have an enduring appeal. Piet Boon started his career as a carpenter. Now he is gaining fame and recognition in the U.S. where his projects regularly catch the attention of style magazines. His is known as the no-nonsense Dutch style. He also has a line of furniture called 'Piet Boon Zone'.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Clear, consistent modernity Aug 16, 2007 |
| Both monographs on Boon's work are spectacular - he deserves much greater recognition outside of Europe. The level of refinement is unrivaled (and perhaps tough to achieve on less than a hedge-fund baby's salary!). Endless rewards in the detail - hardware, finishes, scale, relationship of interior to exterior are all pitch-perfect. | | | Write your own review about Piet Boon 2
