Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Good stories, very informative Oct 23, 2009 |
I really enjoyed this book particularly because I'm in the process of becoming a CHP Officer. I highly recommend this book for anyone that is interested in learning the day to day duties of a CHP Officer and it serves particularly helpful in learning commonly used 10 and 11 codes as they are referenced regularly in this book. The only reason I don't give this book 5 stars is there is no continuity in the different areas of patrol. The stories skip between the 2 or 3 different offices that he was assigned to. I'm assuming this was done to keep the stories fresh as some tend to be similar to previous stories. This book kept me well entertained and I think everyone could enjoy the perspective of the author and the stories he has to tell.

| Thought the book was ok. Nothing spectacular. However the usual warstories without sadly alot of insight into author's personal life and how the job affected him or his family as a result of the occupation he choose. No insight into how he felt of his peers and supervisors either. Jumped around too many times among the three field offices he used to work at instead of staying in one venue for awhile and building it up till he decided to get transferred to his new assignment. | | | Write your own review about 101 Road Patrol Tales from a Chippie of the California Highway Patrol
