Great Romantic Thriller novels propel the reader into a circle of mystery and love. Normally the reader is totally aware of who the hero and heroine are. But this book is refreshingly different. There are many moments when the reader even doubts who the herione is! This is one of the things that makes Carolee Joy's latest bock, A Kiss before Dark, such an intriguing read! Breanna Alden gave up her fortune and her family to marry Marc Lanier. After an explosion aboard her yacht presumably kills him, Breanna is rescued by on old friend, Scott Edwards.
In this fast paced story, even the FBI agents, police, and insurance investigators become suspects.
This riveting book has more plot twists and turns and sadness and romance than most novels today. The many questions that run throughout the story, connecting and shredding the characters' alibis are finally answered in a very satisfying ending.
We look forward to many more books from Carolee Joy.

| I have read all of Ms Joys books and this has to be one of my favorites. Breanna wasn't ready for what she got when she married Marc and the twist and turns will leave you guessing all the way to the end. I am always excited when I get one of Ms Joys books because I know that it will be an excellent read that I won't want to put down til the end. | A Kiss Before Dark is an intensly written romantic thriller with an intriguing plot and fascinating characters. Following the characters as they all connect together leads to shocking revelations and dark twists as Breanna finds out that people are never as they seem. The deep romantic relationships that form through such a rocky time in Breanna's life intensify the passion that lies beneath two people who are so in love. This is a great read for any reader interested in mystery novels and love stories and I literally could not put the book down.
