The story is told with biblical excerpts and the illustrations were created with awe-inspiring engravings. My favorite parts of this book are when traditional Christmas carols/music are inserted throughout the book in perfect places. For example, after the passage about Mary giving birth comes the song, "Away in a Manger" and after the part of the story when the shepherds hear the news, you and your family members can all break into singing, "Hark!
