Item Description...
Overview
Michael Arachev was twelve years old when he realized that he was ordained to someday rule the world. Every decision of his life was made with that ultimate destiny in mind. Many politicians were astounded by the rapid advances of globalization during the 1990's, but not Michael. To him, the emergence of world governmental structures was simply confirmation that forces beyond human power were orchestrating events that would call for the leadership he knew that he alone could provide. Every piece of the puzzle was now converging. Michael Arachev knew that his hour had come.

Publishers Description
Most people spend their entire lives trying to discover their purpose. Michael Archev discovered his when he was only twelve years old: he was born to rule the world. From an early age, every decision in Michael's life was geared towards the fulfillment of his destiny. Every war, every government, every disaster, every triumph; he foresaw them all, and used the knowledge to his advantage. Supernatural forces were at work, creating a world that Michael knew only he could lead. The governments of the world had had their chance, but the puzzle proved to be more complex than they could imagine. Only Michael Archev could put the final pieces in place, and his hour had finally come.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
The World Turned Upside Down  Aug 22, 2004
This is yet another truly absurd offering from Irvin Baxter, Jr. Herein, Baxter presents a thinly disguised portrayal of Mikhail Gorbachev as the Biblical anti-christ. There are numerous and varied problems with Baxter's long winded sermon, both from a historical and from a Scriptural perspective. To begin, Baxter completely misunderstands the role of Russia in world history from the time of the Romanovs to present times. In fact, Russia was the last great Christian monarchy on this Earth. But, because Baxter has always allied himself with the Khazars, he seems compelled to cast Russia in the role of enmity to Christianity. He also shows his allegiance to the Pharisaic Talmudists in denigrating the Roman Catholic church. This denigration manifests itself in this silly excuse for a novel, with Baxter casting the Roman Catholic Pope as the Biblical False Prophet. This, of course, has been a key strategy of the Khazars, and their step children, the masons, ever since John Dee made his nefarious deal with the Rabbi Judah Loew in 16th century Prague.

But, even these monumental errors and others could be tolerated if the writing at least were good and interesing. It is neither. This is a poorly written and historically inaccurate sermon, masquerading as a novel. Leave it on the shelf!
